Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Project in partnership with Greenci.fi
Greenci.fi’s technology is a revolutionising waste industry innovation from Finland, which uses a Mixed Vertical Multi-stage Gasification reactor operating within a high-temperature range. It is the world’s first commercially feasible Gasification Synthesis solution for SAF production. E.g. GFT* SAF solution (Gasification Fischer Tropsch).
Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is an expanding sector projected to grow, and this project will contribute as a solution to meet national targets by 2030.
The project based in Abu Dhabi will use 100% Municipal Solid Waste as feedstock, thus helping to eliminate a major concern for municipalities. The system has the flexibility to handle problematic waste types that require very high-temperature ranges (900ºC -1,200ºC+) and high pressure (30 bar).
From the environmental standpoint, this system produces Zero CH4 and CO emissions and produces up to 80% reduction in CO2 emissions over the fuel’s life cycle compared to fossil jet fuel.
