The FSP-KSA is a comprehensive initiative to produce and distribute healthy food in environmentally difficult areas and help the efforts of KSA achieve its goals in producing healthy food in line with the Food Security Programme and  Vision 2030 .

The project foresees the creation of a “National Centre for Innovation and Technology in the Agrofood Sector” .

The general objectives of this project aim to help KSA meet the goals related to food security in accordance with government outlines:

• To make KSA the world’s best in the Global Food Security Index by 2051;
• To develop a comprehensive national system based on enabling sustainable food production through the use of modern, sustainable and environmentally friendly technologies;
• To enhance local production.
• To set-up the foundations for KSA to deal successfully with the challenges derived from Global Warming.
• To become a world leader in the agriculture of the future.
