Philippe Amer Chite

Philippe Chite’s academic background includes  Master of Science in Energy Studies from the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Aleppo, Aleppo, Syria

With over 20 years of experience in consultancy with a solid background in engineering and energy he has worked in the field of economic development with a focus on SMEs, project management and export development, mainly in the Middle East.

In the field of exports he has been involved in the implementation of a number EU funded projects, conducting export audits, developing export strategies, defining target markets, organising trade missions and B2B matchmaking and staff training.

During his work for the UN, he was involved in the design and definition of a reconstruction framework programme with a major focus on economic development and recovery, infrastructure needs, energy and productive sectors.
