- Experienced International Development and Business Development Consultant: 30+ years of managing the implementation of large private sector development programmes financed by UN/UNIDO and the European Union in many areas of the world, as well as in large, international corporations (General Motors – Delco Products) and innovative private companies, including a helicopter manufacturing and servicing company based in USA (Spitfire Helicopters).
- Advanced Professional Civil Drone Pilot certification (RPAS) from AESA (Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aérea in Spain) and member of the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency).
- Wide experience in SME support programme development and implementation, technical advisory services, liaison and contact at government, international institutions, large financial institutions, and NGOs well specialised in the field of micro-finance.
- Wide experience in export promotion as well the organisation of international events related enterprise cooperation, export of products and services and exchange of expertise.
- Broad-based experience in the region (16 years) both in the private sector and managing large European Union financed SME support Economic Development programmes and technical advisory services (Tunisia, Syria, Jordan, UAE and Turkey), liaison and contact at government, international institutions and financing levels, including micro-finance but also large financial institutions.
- Extensive field experience (10 years +) in managing large Economic Development programmes and provision of Consultancy services, for UNIDO (Latin America, Iran, China and Africa) often working in difficult environments.
- Broad experience in managing Business Incubators and drafting business plans, vocational training, women entrepreneurship development programmes and considerable experience in developing and promoting Creative Industries as a valuable development tool.
- Managerial experience / expertise and technical engineering background in automotive and aviation industries is a valuable resource in identifying solutions in product development to enhance the commercialisation potential and marketing of products. Specifically, extensive experience in the commercialisation of technical products and services.
- Extensive experience in the commercialisation of agro-food, textile and luxury leather products produced within the context of a fragile Natural Park -declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1977- as well as technical products and services.
- Strongly results focused, used to successfully leading multicultural and diverse professional teams.
- Experience in over 15 countries in Latin America, Africa, China, the Middle East and Gulf States.
- Language skills: Fluent in Spanish and English. Working capacity in Portuguese and Italian.
